At Design Fox, engineering isn’t just a profession, it’s a lifelong passion that started in childhood. We take engineering seriously because we’ve lived it, loved it, and dedicated our careers to it. That passion drives us to share what we’ve learned with the next generation. We believe it’s our responsibility to use our skills to inspire young minds and show them the exciting, creative, and impactful world of engineering. Our STEM programs are designed not only to teach academic principles, but also to introduce students to the mindset of an engineer: curious, problem-solving, and always thinking differently. We created these programs because we care deeply about both engineering and education, and we’re committed to helping young people discover the possibilities of a future in STEM.

In this playful and creative STEM program, students will design a brand-new toy using the help of Artificial Intelligence. They’ll use AI to brainstorm ideas, design their toy’s look, name it, write a fun description for an ad, and even generate a custom logo.
Become a "Foxonaut" while learning the latest CAD software! Harness the power of a.i. while exploring Chemistry, Physics, and scientific experimentation! Students will then 3-D print their own RocketFox shuttle and use chemistry to launch them!
Build and race Tamiya 4WD slot cars while exploring Newton’s Three Laws of Motion through hands-on building & experimentation. Do you have the need for speed!?
Build your own Traxxas Slash while taking a journey of math and physics! Focus on 2-D projectile motion, which means, we're jumping these trucks!
Already completed R/C STEM 1.0? Already have your own R/C truck? Join us for R/C STEM 2.0 which uses OnShape CAD to design a custom light bar for your trucks.
Already completed R/C STEM 1.0, 2.0? Already have your own R/C truck? Join us for R/C STEM 3.0 which uses Arduino micro-controllers to design custom functionality for your trucks.
Learn the physics behind falling and skydiving in a fun and interactive class! Get ready for some high flying science!
Learn the ins and outs of OnShape CAD software! Students will be designing, drawing and 3-D printing. An introduction to product development and manufacturing! Making ideas from napkin sketch to working prototypes!
The Design Fox: STEM program is designed for young students to be introduced to STEM concepts. The goal of the Design Fox: STEM program is to
spark the curiosity and creativity in each of the students. Our programs are designed to layer and stack, meaning there will always be more courses and content to learn!
We want to replace phones and tablets with screwdrivers and pliers. Design Fox: STEM offers a mix of STEM concepts while also teaching hands-on building skills. We believe in encouraging not just thinkers, but makers too.
Students enhance their critical thinking skills through hands-on problem-solving activities and projects, equipping them for future challenges.
Let’s empower young minds with the tools they need to shape their futures and make a lasting difference. With STEM, we’re building a generation of leaders, creators, and pioneers. Let’s give our students the chance to discover what they’re truly capable of.
Our program gives students an early advantage in STEM concepts, setting them up for greater success. Each course is designed to align with the student's math and science standards, reinforcing their classroom learning through practical, real-world applications. Our program incorporates journaling, providing an opportunity for students to reflect on and capture their thoughts and emotions.
"My child shows an aptitude for mathematical and scientific thinking and problem solving. He's able to pick up concepts quickly and does well in school, but he doesn't get many opportunities to apply these skills to real world situations which is what he needs to really develop an appreciation for math and science. This course combines real world problem solving with a fun and rewarding activity, all while working in a group with his peers. We think this course will help spark his curiosity that will help him be successful with math and science in school and in life" Paul K., Rolling Hills Parent
"My thoughts on this course was mostly great. Some of the specific things I enjoyed were working in groups and hands on activity such as building the car. Overall, this course was a lot of fun and I would be happy to do it again" Matthew, Rolling Hills 2024
"Our son had a blast building the RC car while at the same time discovering the math behind the car's components and forces. Enrolling our child in this STEM-based class was an exciting learning adventure for him!" Daniel L. , Oak Meadow Parent
"You should definitely take this class. It's so much fun because you get to build an RC car and you learn a lot about mathematical equations and how they apply to cars" Luke, Oak Meadow 2024
"The most appealing part of this program is getting curious and hands-on. They can be creative and get into mechanical and electrical parts. Above all, they are having fun and something they can share with us and to their friends" Henry N, Rolling Hills Parent
