Computer Aided Design STEM (6th - 12th Grades)

In this 8-week hands-on STEM program, students will dive into the exciting world of product design! From sketching ideas to building prototypes, participants will learn how everyday products are created, and even design one of their own.

Using industry-standard CAD software (OnShape), students will bring their ideas to life in 3D. Along the way, they’ll explore the principles of user-centered design, mechanical function, and manufacturability. Each student will identify a real-world problem and develop a custom solution, turning their ideas into a product they can prototype and refine.

By the end of the course, students will have their own original product concept, a working CAD model, and a physical prototype to showcase their creativity and engineering mindset.

8 Week Session, 2 Hrs/week
